Sisley Paris Goes to Sea With Explora Journeys Spa Deal
Sisley Paris has signed its first partnership at sea, opening a treatment suite and boutique in Explora III's spa, with the rest of the fleet to follow in 2027.

Itinerary
- Sisley Paris debuts at sea aboard Explora III, its first cruise partnership.
- The rollout extends to Explora I and Explora II in 2027.
- Explora III carries 922 guests and began its inaugural season on August 3.
- The spa menu adds two facials: the Sisley Signature Facial (60 or 90 minutes) and the 90-minute Sisley Black Rose Facial.
Sisley Paris has signed its first-ever partnership at sea, putting the French luxury cosmetics house inside the spa and retail space of Explora Journeys' newest ship, the 922-guest Explora III.
The deal covers Ocean Wellness – The Spa, where Sisley gets a dedicated treatment suite and a retail boutique stocking skincare, Hair Rituel by Sisley, fragrances and make-up. For sellers of high-end cruise, onboard spa retail is a meaningful ancillary revenue stream, and a brand of Sisley's stature gives Explora a fresh upsell hook in the wellness category.
Explora Journeys said the partnership will roll out to Explora I and Explora II in 2027. That's a two-year gap, so the line is treating this as a slow build rather than a fleetwide launch. No financial terms, retail margin structure or minimum revenue commitments were disclosed.
"Ocean Wellness is about creating the time and space for our guests to switch off, restore and reconnect," said Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys. "Sisley Paris shares our belief in highly personalized care and exceptional quality."
Nash also leaned on the family-owned angle — both companies are family businesses — framing the tie-up around "craftsmanship, longevity and attention to detail." That's brand language, not a commercial term sheet; what it means for pricing or commission structure on onboard spa sales remains unsaid.
What actually goes on the treatment menu?
Two Sisley facial rituals, delivered by therapists specially trained on Sisley's plant-based formulas and massage protocols:
- Sisley Signature Facial — 60 or 90 minutes; a multi-sensory massage ritual working each facial muscle individually, pitched as delivering an immediate lift.
- Sisley Black Rose Facial — 90 minutes; rose-scented, aimed at relaxing the face and boosting radiance.
Explora did not publish pricing for either ritual. On comparable luxury ships, 90-minute spa facials typically run well into three figures per session, so these will sit at the top of the onboard spend ladder.
Why the ship matters
Explora III is sailing its inaugural season, which officially began August 3 across Northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland and North America. At 922 guests, it's a small, high-yield vessel where per-guest onboard spend — spa, retail, beverages — does much of the revenue work. That's precisely the environment where a prestige beauty partner earns its keep.
For travel advisors, the immediate takeaway is a stronger wellness story to sell on Explora III now, with a fleetwide pitch to follow in 2027 — assuming the rollout stays on schedule.
